A dedicated vet PMS is a load-bearing requirement for any real clinic: species-specific chart templates, prescription printing, lab result integration (Idexx / Antech), inventory management for pharmacy stock, cascading billing. If you’re a vet clinic of any real size, you need this — Zellbox doesn’t try to.

When to pick which
Pick a vet PMS if: you need clinical records, lab integrations, prescriptions, inventory — the full operational core of a vet practice.
Pick Zellbox if: you’re a solo or mobile vet running your book out of Google Calendar today — the vet PMS licensing cost isn’t justified yet, but WhatsApp reminders for vaccination recalls and signed consent for procedures already are.
Run both if: your PMS handles the clinical side but doesn’t ship WhatsApp reminders — bridge appointments through a Google Calendar and Zellbox handles the WhatsApp layer.
