Editorial disclosure: I work at Zellbox, so this post is naturally biased. I’ve tried to describe Sleekflow as accurately as possible based on their pricing page and product page as of August 2026. If you find a factual error, message me on LinkedIn and I’ll fix it. No affiliate links.
If you’re comparing Sleekflow with other WhatsApp platforms, you’ve probably also looked at Respond.io, Zoko, Wati, and Callbell. Sleekflow is an omnichannel commerce platform — WhatsApp + Instagram + Facebook + Shopify + WeChat + LINE — with strong presence in Southeast Asia + Hong Kong. Zellbox is built for a different job: appointment-driven small businesses (clinics, salons, vets, physio studios) that need WhatsApp reminders tied to a calendar, not broadcast marketing.
Where Sleekflow fits
Sleekflow shines for D2C retailers and e-commerce brands running click-to-WhatsApp ads, cart abandonment flows, and catalogue selling. If you’re selling products and WhatsApp is your primary customer channel across Asia-Pacific, Sleekflow is a native fit.
Where Zellbox fits
If your business runs on visits — appointments, not orders — the entire product architecture changes. You need Google Calendar sync so events flow in, reminders that fire on your event schedule, and a way to send + store signed consent PDFs on the customer record. Sleekflow doesn’t do any of these natively.

What actually breaks when an appointment business uses a commerce platform
Sleekflow is built around broadcast campaigns and catalogue selling, not appointments. It has no appointment model, no calendar sync, and no event-triggered reminder scheduling. A clinic or salon trying to make it work would need to bridge it to a calendar tool with Zapier, then manually schedule reminders around each event — recreating by hand, and maintaining indefinitely, what an appointment-native product does automatically.
Switching from Sleekflow to Zellbox
If broadcast marketing isn’t actually your use case and appointments are, moving to Zellbox takes three steps:
- Connect Google Calendar — your existing schedule becomes the source of truth for reminders.
- Connect WhatsApp Business via Meta’s Embedded Signup — about 10 minutes, no flow-builder configuration required.
- Import your existing customer records. There’s no broadcast-campaign or catalogue data to migrate, since Zellbox’s model is appointment reminders rather than commerce messaging — you’re importing contacts, not campaigns.
When to pick which
Pick Sleekflow if: you’re a D2C retailer running click-to-WhatsApp campaigns, catalogue selling, or high-volume marketing broadcasts — especially in Southeast Asia or Hong Kong where they’re strongest.
Pick Zellbox if: your business runs on appointments and you want WhatsApp reminders that know your calendar. Free plan covers 100 reminders/month with no BSP setup — you can be operational in under 10 minutes.
