YouCanBookMe is a booking widget that uses Google Calendar as the source of truth. Zellbox reads the same calendar and adds WhatsApp reminders.
How it works
- In YouCanBookMe → Settings → Calendars → connect your Google Calendar.
- In Zellbox → Onboarding step 2 → connect the same Google Calendar.
- Every YouCanBookMe booking now appears on your calendar. Zellbox fires WhatsApp reminders on schedule.
What Zellbox adds
- WhatsApp reminders — YouCanBookMe sends email confirmations, not WhatsApp. Zellbox adds the reminder channel clients actually check on their phone, without changing YouCanBookMe’s own confirmation flow.
- Signed consent PDFs for services requiring them. A signed PDF is captured on the customer’s first reply and attached to their record, replacing a manual intake step.
- Two-way replies in your Zellbox inbox. A reply to confirm, cancel, or ask a question lands where staff can see and act on it, instead of disappearing into an email thread.
- Language-aware templates for multilingual bases. Reminders can be sent in the language a customer is most likely to respond to, which matters for businesses with a mixed-language customer base.
Tuning which reminders fire
Independent 24h/2h toggles
Zellbox lets you turn the 24h and 2h reminder windows on or off independently, per calendar or per customer segment — useful if, say, you only want the 2h reminder for high-no-show services and the 24h reminder for everything else.
Works the same on every YouCanBookMe plan
Google Calendar is a supported backend on all YouCanBookMe plans, not just paid tiers, so this bridge and the reminder-tuning above work identically whether you’re on YouCanBookMe’s free plan or a paid one.
