HubSpot Meetings is HubSpot’s free booking tool. Zellbox adds WhatsApp reminders without requiring a HubSpot WhatsApp add-on. The bridge is Google Calendar.
How it works
- In HubSpot → Settings → Calendar → connect your Google Calendar (free feature).
- In Zellbox → Onboarding step 2 → connect the same Google Calendar.
- Every HubSpot Meetings booking appears on your Google Calendar. Zellbox fires WhatsApp reminders on schedule.
What Zellbox adds
- WhatsApp channel — HubSpot Meetings sends email confirmations natively, but WhatsApp is locked behind paid Marketing/Service Hub tiers plus a WhatsApp add-on; the Google Calendar bridge sidesteps that entirely.
- Signed consent PDFs for services requiring them — the signed PDF attaches to the customer record automatically, something HubSpot’s meeting scheduler was never built to handle.
- Two-way replies land in your Zellbox inbox — when a contact replies to confirm or ask a question, the message shows up next to that contact’s record instead of on a rep’s personal phone.
- No HubSpot Hub subscription required — the whole bridge runs on HubSpot’s free Google Calendar sync, so teams on HubSpot’s free CRM tier get WhatsApp reminders without upgrading.

No Hub upgrade required
This bridge uses HubSpot’s free Google Calendar sync — it doesn’t touch HubSpot’s paid WhatsApp add-on or require a Marketing/Service Hub upgrade. If you’re on HubSpot’s free CRM tier with Meetings enabled, the whole flow works without changing your HubSpot plan.
Keeping the contact timeline in sync
Zellbox’s WhatsApp reminders don’t automatically log back into the HubSpot contact timeline, since Zellbox operates as a separate system reading the same Google Calendar. Teams that want the reminder logged against the contact record can bridge Zellbox’s outbound events into HubSpot via Zapier or Make.
