Acuity Scheduling (a Squarespace product) handles booking + payments + intake forms. Zellbox adds the piece Acuity doesn’t ship: WhatsApp reminders. The bridge is your Google Calendar.
How it works
- In Acuity → Business Settings → Sync With Other Calendars → connect Google Calendar (2-way sync).
- In Zellbox → Onboarding step 2 → connect the same Google Calendar.
- Every Acuity booking now appears on your calendar. Zellbox fires WhatsApp reminders on schedule.
What Zellbox adds beyond Acuity’s built-in reminders
- WhatsApp channel — Acuity’s built-in reminders are email + SMS only.
- Higher delivery rate in WhatsApp-first markets (LATAM, Southern Europe, MENA, SEA).
- Signed consent PDFs — patients sign on their phone; PDF stored on the customer record.
- Two-way replies — customer responses land in your Zellbox inbox.
