Mangomint is a modern US salon + spa PMS. Zellbox adds WhatsApp reminders on top of Mangomint’s built-in SMS via the Google Calendar sync Mangomint provides.
How it works
- In Mangomint → Staff Settings → Google Calendar Sync → connect (2-way).
- In Zellbox → Onboarding step 2 → connect the same Google Calendar.
- Every Mangomint booking now appears on Google Calendar. Zellbox fires WhatsApp reminders at 24 h and 2 h.

Two-way sync means no separate export step
Because Mangomint’s Google Calendar sync is 2-way (unlike the one-way iCal feeds some competitors use), there’s no separate “copy the export URL” step — you connect the same Google Calendar in both Mangomint’s staff settings and Zellbox’s onboarding, and bookings flow through automatically.
Where the WhatsApp gap shows up most
Mangomint is built for the US market where SMS still dominates client communication, so its native reminders are SMS/email-first. Salons serving Spanish-speaking, immigrant, or international clientele tend to see the clearest lift from adding WhatsApp as a parallel channel.
